Training Workshop: Crowdfunding for Social Good

Working in development and curious about how a crowdfunding campaign might help you reach your goals, or boost your current fundraising efforts?  You may be interested in attending the following training workshop offered by one of our signature partners, the Center for Non-Profits.

Space is limited and registration is limited to two per organization. Workshop includes a light breakfast and a working lunch.

Have you been considering starting a crowdfunding campaign, or want to boost your current online fundraising? Join us with crowdfunding expert Devin Thorpe to assess your own crowdfunding prospects before you begin, discover how you can reach one-third of your goal on the first day of your campaign, and how you can get the media to share your crowdfunding story. You’ll leave with a complete crowdfunding strategy, including timelines, cause assessment, partner identification, campaign strengths and a media plan – in one easy to follow document. (Attendees are encouraged to bring their own laptop or smartphone to create videos during our working lunch.)

Crowdfunding for Social Good training is sponsored by Johnson & Johnson. Devin Thorpe will provide a short presentation about the company and its crowdfunding platform CaringCloud. There is no requirement for attendees to use this platform, the presentation is solely for informational purposes.

Workshop Cost: $20 for Center for Non-Profits members; $45 for nonmembers.  Not sure if your organization is a member of the Center for Non-Profits?  Check the list here; if your organization isn't a member yet, share this information about member benefits with your Executive Director and consider joining!
